Snohomish County Superior Court supports remote participation for many calendars and provides defined procedures for submitting and presenting evidence in court. Remote availability depends on case and calendar type, and parties must follow local rules and administrative orders.

Technology Overview

  • Remote Participation (Zoom/Microsoft Teams):
The Court hosts virtual hearings via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Parties are instructed to connect 15 minutes early for identification, to follow naming conventions, and to refrain from recording without judicial permission. Availability to appear remotely varies by case and calendar; consult local rules and administrative orders tied to your proceeding.

  • Electronic Filing (Odyssey File & Serve):
Attorneys must e-file documents through the Clerk’s online eFile & Serve (Odyssey File & Serve) system. Non-attorneys are encouraged but not required to e-file. Review SCLGR 30/GR 30 and the Clerk’s guidance for document types and formatting requirements.

  • Submitting and Presenting Audio/Video Exhibits:
Under Administrative Order 38-22, parties seeking to submit audio or video evidence must obtain permission from the judicial officer. Do not submit audio/video via e-filing; it will be rejected. For in-court presentation of digital photos or video, the offering party must bring a device that can accept a court-provided USB ClickShare to display to courtroom screens, and also bring the media on a removable device for admission as an exhibit as directed by the Order.
